Frequently Asked Questions

How much financial aid is granted to each scholarship recipient?

Koch College Recruiting contributes over $35,000 in scholarships annually to high-achieving students. Individual scholarship amounts may vary and are allocated in increments of $500, up to $2,500 per award. Scholarships are one-time donations and do not recur in subsequent semesters.

Is attendance at Koch Discovery Day required?

Discovery Day is an opportunity for Discovery Scholarship finalists to interact with Koch business leaders and develop further leadership skills. Discovery Day invitations will be extended after on-campus interviews are completed. Attendance at Discovery Day is strongly encouraged for all finalists, as scholarship awards will be granted shortly thereafter.

Please note that all travel expenses will be reimbursed for finalists attending Discovery Day.

Can I apply for a Discovery Scholarship if I do not attend one of the institutions listed?

Unfortunately, no. The universities listed above are the only schools where Discovery Scholarships are currently available.
